Nylon Insulated Ring Terminals

Nylon insulated ring terminals provide superior insulation versus vinyl ring terminals. Insulation is securely molded and is flared for easier wire insertion. Allows for excellent mechanical crimp and wire strain relief. Works best when the terminal is double crimped - once on the wire, and a second time on the insulation of the wire. Industry standard color-coding indicates wire range. Rated to 600 volts and 221°F (105°C). Selection includes: ring sizes from #4 all the way up to 1/2".

Nylon insulated ring terminals are color coded to industry standards:

Red nylon ring terminals for 22-18GA wire.

Blue nylon ring terminals for 16-14GA wire.

Yellow nylon ring terminals for 12-10GA wire.

Nylon insulated ring terminals contain a tin-plated brass sleeve that strengthen the ring terminal barrel and secures the wire to protect against stress and high vibration. Funnel ferrule wire entrance into electrical barrel eliminates wire strand ‘hang-up’, increases crimping rates and wire termination reliability.

Terminals made of Nylon material have an operating temperature range: continuous duty from -67°F to 221°F (-55°C to 105°C)
