Matters needing attention in connection terminal mating

(1) Before mating, the terminal should be checked again for any abnormal phenomena such as redundant objects, corrosion of the appearance of the terminal, abnormal pins (holes), and inflexible locking mechanism.
(2) For terminals that do not have anti-misoperation, special care should be taken when mating. Before mating, it is necessary to carefully check whether the models of the plugs and sockets to be connected, whether the logos and the objects correspond to each other, and ensure the correct positioning of the plugs and sockets that are connected to each other to prevent reverse insertion. Prevent mismating between plugs and sockets with the same model and specification but different purposes, and prevent mismating between plugs with pins and sockets with pins.
(3) When connecting the terminals, care should be taken to avoid loosening of the tail cover and damage to the cable core. When it is not properly inserted into the position, it is forbidden to use it with electricity to prevent accidents.
(4) When mating, carefully judge whether the mating is in place according to the logo or contact position, check whether the positioning is accurate, and whether the locking is firm.
(5) In some special use occasions, it may be difficult to check the connection indication of the terminal; at this time, detailed regulations should be made in the corresponding operating procedures, and inspection can be carried out through the sight glass.
(6) If the terminal does not separate for a long time after mating, a safety device can be installed between the plug and the socket.
(7) After mating, the connection terminals should be tested for connection to ensure that the connection terminals are completely conductive.
