Testing method for contact stability of terminals

1. Static conductivity detection
Terminals are generally used in the connection of static electrical systems, so the static conductivity should be used as one of the basic indicators for judging the stability of terminals. The static conductivity detection of terminal blocks, as the name suggests, is to conduct a sampling test on the conductivity of terminal blocks in a static electrical system. In order to ensure the static conductivity stability of this batch of products, ensure product quality, and maximize the protection of the interests of customers and terminal block companies.
2. Dynamic conductivity detection
Sometimes, terminal blocks are used in dynamic, such as vibration environments. Therefore, it is particularly necessary to conduct dynamic conductivity tests on terminal blocks. Experiments have shown that only qualified terminal blocks are tested in a static environment, and the reliability of contact in a dynamic environment cannot be guaranteed. Because often the connectors with qualified static conductivity will still experience instantaneous power failure during the dynamic simulation test when vibrating, so for some terminals with high reliability requirements, it is best to carry out dynamic vibration tests one by one to ensure reliability of its contact.
3. Single hole insertion force detection
The single-hole insertion force refers to the maximum static friction force when the contact piece in the unit pinhole insertion state changes from relative static to relative motion or from relative motion to relative static. Numerous experimental results show that the single-hole insertion force is too small, and the signal may be interrupted in a dynamic environment such as vibration.
In general, testing the reliability of terminal blocks by measuring the insertion and withdrawal force of a single hole can ensure contact stability better than conductivity testing. Experiments have shown that jacks with poor single-hole insertion and extraction force often pass the conductivity test.
